I don’t think that fad make people popular but I thing if someone have a cloth that cost a lot of money everybody will come her or him to ask them if they could borrow them their outfit, in a way the first person who got the fashion outfit will be popular for a while before everybody get it.
What I love about fad is really original and old fad always come back is like a circle. For example one day I was reading the newspaper and I saw a picture of a famous woman and I realize that the famous women were wearing makeup and she look like a racoon! I think fads are a very good thing, we discover things that people use to wear years before us and can bring them back. Like in the movie grease, the girl who's playing one of the principal character wear a black legging and it came back in 2012.
People follow fads to have a status, they want people to see them in a positive and cool way. On tumblr a bolg site, some people are using beautiful makeup, pretty closes just to be more attractive on their pics and have many followers.
Fads make people popular for sure, because if someone is popular and he wear something that everyone likes, you will want to have it ,just to be popular.
My favorite fads right now are timberland boots, this is very gangsta, a different vibe of shoes, I'm use to by and I like it.

I think that fads are good and not good at the same time. What good about it is that some of the old things that coming back are cool and pretty but what not good about it is that people only follow fads to make more friends not because they love it. One day I was in the mall with my friend and she start buying things that everyone was wearing even if she don't like it.

Why the people follow fads? They follow fads because they think fads make popular but is false. I think is good butt not when is excessive. Certain people abuse they buy the thing and after one week they don't like this and return at shop for buy a other thing.
I have different favorite fads but my favorite is sport clothing like adidas jacket , skinny adidas pants and adidas shoes. I like this because is very comfortable.
This is my opignon about fads. Follow fads for you not for a other person because this don't make a person popular.

ReplyDeleteI think fads are very good to make money because when a lot of people want something they go to the store and buy it. For example last year everybody was wearing rubber bracelets in different colors saying I love boobies that would be for sale in a lot of stores and on the internet.
Some people think that fads can make a person more popular, but I think it is not true. For the reason that if you want you could be dressed with all the new clothes or have all the new toys. It won’t make you more popular than anybody else.
I think people follow fads to stay with the new technology and all the new or old stuff that comes back and becomes popular.
One of my favorite fads is in-line skates because I think it is a good way to go at a place very quickly and easily. I also like it because I play a lot of hockey on the street with them. So this is why fads are good and bad for us.

Yes, i think that fads make us popular cause when one personne has an xbox 360 after everybody wants it and after theres the xbox 760 , so everybody is gonna want to play with you and be your friend i chose that one but theres a lot more examples but my personal was that one day there was a new guy that was very popular at my school and he had his own swag like his own fashion but when everybody saw him the next day they all was wearing the same clothes so yes it makes you popular.
People follow fads cause they wanna be in a groupe in something that can make you popular or juste you dont get bullied by other cause your in a pack. like for example i followed my idol fads , he was wearing new gloves nike so i went and bot them and wasted money cause after everybody was around me watching my gloves so thats why i think people follow fads .
My favriot fad is my xbox cause like my first example i spended money but when i saw that it was usesless to buy the new one so i stayed with the same xbox and im okay with mine .

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I think that fad is a good thing to enjoy the people. The fads are important in the society because they help to make easier our life. We live with them every day. A good example is the cell phone. I think it is the most popular fad. It allows us to communicate with our friends anytime and anywhere. An other fad is sport. It's excellent fad for us and that keep health and pass the time.
It seems that fad is a movement in the crowd. If we talk about video games. All kids play with video games and each kid wants to be the best. That allows to be popular in the eyes of all.
The people follow fads to do like the other but he became quickly dependent. We have just to think about cell phones, computer, video games,...
For my part, my favorite fad is nice clothes. I think that is important to have a nice look and well appear. If I have nice clothes, I have self-confident.
